Once Bing took over MSN, my site dropped like a rock even though I am #1 in the SERPs in Google for my keywords. Two days ago I was on the bing webmaster tools and decided to try resubmitting my sitemap. Today I'm #1 in bing for all of my keywords. Don't know if this was just an accident, something wrong at my end, or if bing just didn't get my sitemap correctly when they made the switchover from MSN.

Many viewers think that the backdrop image that is revealed on the Bing home-page is more of a interruption than anything else. There is though a very simple way of removing the backdrop image in the search-engine to work with a version without the backdrop image. All that needs to set following parameter:
