Cost Per Click software and question

Hey all,

I need help in understanding why Overture combines local and standard CPC's accounts together but you cannot see the local bids when you are logged in? I notice many times a local business will be ahead of my rankings but I cannot see their bids in my login account. Any ideas on how to manage this better?
