FACEBOOK - How many different ways are there to join a group

I really need to know how many ways there are too join a group and how you actually do it. Its important because a friend of mine has a disciplinary at work tomorrow with regards to stuff that has been put on facebook. All help is much appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

I guess you would need multi addresses in order to join groups with the same ID. But be really careful. There are some sites that don't allow that and others don't mind so much. Right now, I can only think that you will need to sign up with addresses, I'd be curious to know if there was another way also.
