Google and Reach Local?

Has anyone heard of a company called ReachLocal? They're supposedly an authorized reseller of Google’s AdWords. I just got out of a meeting with a ReachLocal rep and it left me feeling a bit apprehensive. They're pitching a local online marketing tool called ALGO "Automated Lead Generator Optimizer" which frankly sounded gimmicky to me. I'm just wondering if anyone out there knows anything about ReachLocal, or has an opinion on them and the ALGO system.
