Google toolbar gets twisted a little times per day! How do I "lock toolbars"?

I run a Windows Vista Premium OS, with the latest Firefox and Google Toolbar versions. My security system is Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 and Windows Defender. I run PC Tune-Up, TuneUp Utilities and Repair Error on a regular basis.
Sometimes the separators will be moved from between some icons, even while I'm working on a page on a Google site. Normally some buttons are removed from the toolbar and I will find them back on the customized options site and have to reinstall them! I can learn to live with the problem, but it is yet very annoying!
