Is google toolbar needed ? I say no.

I don't think that google toolbar is needed to be installed. When we are using mozilla as our browser then it is integrated with google and also same in IE. Installing toolbar may slow down the internet connection if you don't have high speed internet. And why to install it when it doesn't have use ?

I haven't installed the Google Toolbar as I use Mozilla Firefox and it is really good with many built in features and I like using it.Your question is good and may be there are some browsers that lack Google toolbar and they need to be installed.

Yeah I think it is needed as in some browsers like safari don't have it and they need Google toolbar,So you can install it in them to use it.

If you are using firefox then you don't need the google toolbar. Now a days most of the browsers are integrated with google and if not you can simply hit google.com in your browser.

Yeah if you have Mozilla Firefox and even IE8 there is no need for you to install Google toolbar to be installed and it comes in built.And it has nearly taken as a necessary one in most of the browsers.

I think most of us don't use netscape navigator or Adobe and we use either IE or Mozilla Firefox so we don't need any Google toolbar to be installed.

I too say to Google Toolbar installation as every Browser now that comes in is built in with this feature.So you don't need to install it and you can be comfortable with the browser as such.

The search box is not the only feature that the Google toolbar contains. It contains a lot more very useful features, which dont come along automatically with browsers. And the search box is just ONE OF THE FEATURES that the toolbar contains. So the presence of just a search bar cannot possibly eliminate the requirement of the Google toolbar.
