Graphic Designers / Webmasters: How to choose the best resou

My boss asked me this question:You have two monitors: 22"and 17". The 22"is 16:9 aspect ratio and the 17"is a 4:3 aspect ratio.If you are using them side by side, what resolution should each monitor be so it doesn't seem stretched out and disorted.I've tried every single resolution pattern and still think one is still weird while the other is fine. Anyone have any idea?Of course, the bigger screen is for design / coding.. the smaller one is for consumer view.
