I have 50,000 pics that I need to tag with keywords. Any Ideas on a fast and easy way to do this?

I literally have 50,000 pics I need to put searchable Keywords on. Any programs or help on this?
prefferably a free program.

There is no superfast way to do it. Here would be my choice: Photo Mechanic. It can bring up thumbs and lay them out like they are on a sorting table. It also runs fairly quickly so the program does not slow you down.

The program is very powerful and it is worth the effort to learn it. Three other bits of advice:
a) A large monitor is helpful
b) Decide your organization scheme in adavance and do a litle bit every day
c) You can selct multiple pics and assign keywords all at once.
