Postby Mech » Sun Sep 13, 2009 7:18 am

Hi I want to know a way to increase the traffic to my blog site. My blog is somewhat new with less content. Is there any way to improve the traffic and to get a higher place in Google rank.

Tag your blog at technorati, ping your blogs....get the rss feed url for the blogs, and submit it to rss directories.

To be really successful with your blog its best to put in two or three entries a day. I was getting over 100 spiders crawling my site daily and not to mention the traffic out of the roof. But another good step would be to have another blog owner with a similar niche exchange a banner with you, you'll draw some of his viewers and vice versa. In some cases some forums will allow you to enter your blogs url and everytime you make a fresh entry it will show on that forum by your name. That will also draw some attention.

You can be part of a community, and recommend your blog to more persons, Learn enough to become the expert in your field, Share your expertise generously so people recognize it and depend on you, and having relevant adds to your topic also helps.

Fresh content is most important. So regularly update your Blog with fresh content. Apart from that submit your Blog to high PR directories and search engines. Do all other off page SEO including Social Bookmarking, Blog Comment, guest posting and so on.
