How many tags for a blog post?

If you run a blog, you can add tags for SEO.
But if you add several tags, you run the risk of keyword stuffing...and u can be seen as a tag spammer. The ideal numbers are 5 to 7 max.

I believe the numbers you gave are pretty good but I think the max would be about 10 in all honesty. I generally use 10 very frequently withouth problem.
