Huge Jump in Yahoo rankings/Could registering Yahoo Listing

I have a client with a restaurant in South Florida. I have only been working the site for a couple months, recently i saw a huge jump in his rankings under many of our key terms, I mean like unranked to number 2. While we have been building links this jump was huge and sudden. I think it is one of two things that caused, finally having improved title tags on each page and indexing them in Google Local. Has anybody else seen any huge spikes like this?

Do you mean Yahoo Local? I would highly think that doing something as specific like this in Google would have little to no effect on Yahoo rankings.

Thats what I thought. I would think that adding a listing to Yahoo Local helps validate some information and possibly establishes more trust with a business. Not a proven theory just a guess.
