Keyword Tools inaccurate for anyone else?

I've specifically tried both Traffic Travis and Market Samurai (both free versions) and they are grossly inaccurate, for search results I'm getting maybe 1 or 2 of the current top 10 being listed. This, obviously, makes it harder to judge whether a keyword is competitive or not.
