Keyword trick in Google Map???

Postby gaskill » Sat Jan 16, 2010 11:35 am

Hi has anyone ever noticed that with one G map entry, the listing can appear multiple times with different search terms?

For example, XYZ Restaurant

search term = "Denver Asian Food" -> G map listing shows XYZ Asian Food Restaurant in G Map
search term = "Denver Mexican Food" -> G map listing shows XYZ Mexican Food Restaurant in G Map
search term = "Denver Western Food" -> G map listing shows XYZ Western Food Restaurant in G Map

They all point to the same gmap listing- which can potentially make the whole listing page irrelevant coz you've got different reviews, etc.

I know of a technical trick called "keyword macro" in AdWords. Is this the same?
