Looking for SEO help!

I'm currently trying to get my site listed in search results but am not having luck. I've been working on building backlinks by article marketing, social bookmarking, etc., and still am not having much luck getting results. I'm not even appearing in results for Leather Motorcycle Jackets. I'm wondering if there may be other issues that I am not seeing because my lack of expertise in this area. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

That's a really good question.... If my primary keyword phrase includes leather motor cycle helmets I would want it to appear in the domain name But without knowing what your domain is it will be really difficult to assist you. But since you have not responded since January you likely do not care.
