I am very much interested in coupon and discount sites. I have done some research via Compete.com and Alexa.com on the sites with some of the highest unique visitors. I am looking for suggestions on where I might be able to fine the average conversion rate of coupon/product discount sites; the average revenue that a site might earn in a calendar year etc. Any suggestion is this area is greatly appreciated.

Today I spoke to some guys at Bankcard services. They had told me that come October of this year, VISA and MC will be releasing a list of approved shopping cart scripts, and that Magento is not on it. Furthermore, they were telling me that I had to change my cart from AIM to SIM, but why the hell would I want to have my customers check out on another site? Has anyone had this ...

I'm currently looking for a comphrensive list for .net ecommerce solutions. Ideally, I'd like something which doesn't limit the product numbers and where you don't have to pay for each site.

The question is from an seo point of view is it better to clone our UK site so that we have sites with domains that are .fr .de in the correct languages?
Or is it better to just use a .com with the option to change languages on the site?
