Optimize Image Gallery with Alexa in mind?

I am using a Coppermine gallery and want to improve my Alexa standing. Are tags and comments the way to build clicks? Are these the only way to do this or supported by Alexa?
I will be spending time much time in this week to bounce back in Alexa. Please help me.
