Nice information, I am just searching about it. Now-a-days internet is at its faster version. The loading speed of a web page factors very much for the visitors.
As we all know Google is the major search engine how he can overlook this issue.
So always remember lighter web page means better ranking.

Now, every website owner has to lighten the graphics, optimize their site, for fast loading purposes, and do not get affected by rankings on Google.
