I want to understand how search engines work. I understand that its different for different search engines. But I want ot know the key aspects of how search engine actually searches for a webpage in the vast web hub.

In the Search Engine all the Hosted Website are list in the index Manner.When Every any one Search with the String and Search Engine Find that Related Keyword from the listed File or Database and Give the output of The Search Engine.There are mainly Three Step in The Working of The Search Engine.

1. Web crawling.
2. Indexing.
3. Searching.

when your site is crawled do you get indexed right away? or they have to crawl on your site like two to three times before you get indexed?
