Reciprocal link and google rank.

Google doesn't count reciprocal link is what i know.I may be wrong also, but if we have linked between related websites then surely we will be profited. But exchanging links randomly just by searching on internet is never going to help us. I have never used reciprocal link exchange.

Its not that google won't count reciprocal link at all. But if you have reciprocal link in unrelated site and the site where your link is placed has many such links then google won't count them.

Its right that google won't go deeply for reciprocal links. It will be more interested in one way links. However reciprocal links also will help about 10% .

They are talking about reciprocal linking, is when you exchange links with another site.
They put on their site a link to your page, and you put a link to their site.
It is called "Link exchange" or "Reciprocal linking".

But I think you must be very careful in link exchanging with a few sites as there can be some fishy scam sites that try to hack your site.

I would suggest you to go for link exchange with high PR sites so that you will also be able to get high PR easily and more users will come in for the site.

I don't think Google will avoid reciprocal link and they do consider it for PR calculation and they avoid it only when the link is in unwanted site.

Always try to exchange links with only sites that have high PR and more number of years that are enough for your site.
