My site's google pagerank has lowered from PR2 to PR0. ?

My site's google pagerank has lowered from PR2 to PR0. ?

I've just checked my site today and it's PR has gone down to O. It was still PR2 last week. What could have caused this? Why this PR dropped?

Maybe changes on google algorithm, or was penalized.
Have you used automated software in the last days to send your site to several places in a short while?
