You are in luck, there is software developed by Google for this very purpose, it works great, and it is free!
The Adwords Editor software is an absolute essential if you are going to be managing a large account or multiple accounts. I manage over a dozen accounts and wouldn't be able to do it without the editor. There is a little bit of a learning curve, but not much, and once you get past it this tool will save you an incredible amount of time.
Some of the features include:
- Store your account (Don't have to worry about losing work)
- Use to manage multiple accounts
- Add keywords, ads, ad groups, etc. in bulk
- Export to spreadsheet
- Make fast edits in Excel
- Literally just copy and paste from campaign to campaign
- Import Campaigns, Adgroups, or even entire Accounts
- Advanced search
- Add comments as you make changes
- Sortable performance statistics
