What happens if a "Link Farm" linked to my site?

Hello Friends,

What would happen if a link farm or a bad neighborhood is linked to my site? Will I be penalized for that? Please let me know as some of my sites are linked to a link farm i believe. I am worried that this would hurt my sites.
