I would also like to know what % increase I'm likely to get with SEO. Right now I am a PR1 site with about 34 inbound links. Will SEO help me increase PR and therefore conversions? Thanks so much.

What is a reasonable price for SEO work? How do I know if

Postby mrsixfive » Fri May 15, 2009 10:51 pm

SEO work can cost anywhere from $99 up to and over $1,000...it just depends on the level of work that is going to be done. For those sites that offer SEO work in the $1,000 range, this is usually done over several months, where as those who charge a one time fee ($99.00 and up), they'll likely do some of the following to help your sites overall Page Rank:

Page Title Tags Generation
- Keyword Research and Selection
- META description and marketing tags
- Geographical target market tags
- Main Content Suggestions
- 1 Custom Written Article & Syndication
- Submission to top search engines and directories

Internet Search Engines are the primary source in which consumers find local businesses.

Surveys have shown that over 85% of all Internet users find new web sites by using the search engines. Other surveys show that using the search engines is the most popular activity on the Internet after email.

It's a fact; Search Engine Optimization must be part of your marketing strategy.

If your business doesn't show up on the first couple of pages of the search engine results, you are losing business to your competitors that do.

What Is Search Engine Optimization?

Search Engine Optimization is the process of coding a website in such a way so that it ranks high in the search engine results. Unlike paid search engine rankings that appear as sponsored listings at the top or side of a search results page, organic listings appear in the body of the search results page and are ranked based upon complex ranking systems or algorithms. Organic listings usually make up the majority of the search engine listings and can actually be improved by experts through proven search engine optimization techniques.

If You Get It Wrong, Your Business Will Suffer

If your website isn't optimized for the search engines, the people that are actively looking for a business like yours can't find you. But they are able to locate your competitors and that allows them to reach new customers and increase their market share.

SEO is meant to increase your page ranking in the different major search engines. With that said more sites will be linking back to you and your PR1 will increase. But all this takes time. A good price to start with is about 1000 per month which should include social bookmarking, blogging, article submissions/creation, link building, etc...

I used SpaceNet-Media and they worked out great for me. I'm on their 750 dollar plan which with that alone I've doubled my traffic in a week. Not only that My ranking are also going up for all my keywords but that took more time than a week. I would suggest giving it a try for about 6 months to a year and then you should see a big difference.

Heres the link to their site: http://www.spacenetmedia.com/

Heres the link to the plan I'm on http://www.spacenetmedia.com/search-engine-optimization-program.html

And also you can checkout your ranking and more using the free tools they offer for SEO here

Good luck ;)

reasonable price from a good seo company = 25 pages of optimization for about $5,000...50 pages for about $9,000. This is for keyword research, selection, meta / coding optimization, link structure diagnostics and suggestions, minor copy-writing and implementation.

seo is a commitment. rankings are not guaranteed. you'll need to continually try and get inbound links to your site and add fresh content. if you can't do this yourself, a company can also do this for you. Any company that guarantees rankings is most likely bogus.

Hi - there

There have been some great responses here already.

I used to do all my SEO for my sites and it look so much time doing blog posts, forums, directory submissions, article submission and press releases. I have tried a number of different people for SEO, loads of them claiming they can build links and page rank etc. I tested each company / person on a different site to test their effectiveness.

Over the last few months i have found a really good company - they charge $300 for normal package and $500 for the advanced and they do everything for you - including creating videos and submitting. So far they have built 500 inbound links to my website, and gone from a page rank 1 to page rank 3 and the traffic has increased. The site now ranks on first page of google for two term keyphrase

You can see their website at: http://www.1web-promotion.com

Hope you find them useful,

well my friend is professional SEO he will charge $1000 to get page rank 4 for your website, if your website is about fashion related or songs downloads related then you can get page rang 5 or 6 , because people loves to download songs & fashion photos too.

Just check reviews about the company, ask for a company portfolio and examples of satisfied clients.

Being someone who sells some SEO work and for a fairly fair price, it depends on what you want. Some do charge alot and most of it is based off of the amount of time and work they put in. So the price itself will vary on what exactly your looking for.
