What is SEO and help in setting up a website?

I am looking to set up a website for a new business that I am just starting and although I am familiar with the pc and the internet, I am struggling to find out what SEO is. Also, as costs are limited, can I do it myself?

SEO is short for search engine optimization. It just means those factors on your site that help it to appear higher in the search engines for your relevant keywords. Obviously the higher you are in the search engines, the more likely it is for visitors to come to your websites. The coveted position is number 1 position for your relevant search terms

Hi! SEO is a technique that will allow your site achieve a higher rank on the search engine by increasing the traffic to your site. It will cost you money but it is worth it. However, you can also try optimizing your site on your own by choosing the keywords that is relevant to your site and you can put a blog or try bookmarking, articles submission, etc. But I suggest you to consult an SEO expert to help you.

SEO means Search Engine Optimization........

SEO consists of two: On Page SEO and Off page SEO

On page means you do SEO on your website pages by optimizing the keyword, meta tags, title tags, design, and so on.

Off page means you do SEO off your website pages, like for example with link building - article submission, forum posting, social bookmarking, social networking, directory listing, blog commenting with quality content and not just spamming...
